You may have noticed that this month is about all things email.
We’ve talked about how impactful your email signature can be in this post, and today we’re going to take it next level.
Your email signature is like handing a person a digital business card every time you send an email.
In summary, your email signature should be pretty recognizable. Here’s how:
- Include your photo (limit to 300 x 300 px)
- Include signup (but make it a convenient and quick action for the recipient)
- Add social media icons that link to your channels
- Bonus: Share a customer testimonial (we talk about how to get amazing testimonials is this blog)

BUT… just like your business card, most people won’t read your signature, so here’s a pro tip to make sure you get your important points read.
Do not forget the humble P.S.
Why? Because the P.S. may be the only content your customer reads.
Remember- your readers only SKIM the content.
And using the list theory I shared in this blog about website menus, you know that the last item in any list is super important.
Which leads us to the P.S.
Your readers start at the top of your message and quickly scroll all the way to the bottom to find out two things:
- What you’re selling and
- How much
Here’s how to use the P.S. for good and not evil:
All you need to do is use the P.S. to restate your offer in one sentence. Add a link if you can.
Then drop the mic. You’re awesome.
Great news! WanderWeb is currently accepting clients for web design and local search engine optimization, and we would love your referral.
